Thanks everyone!

June 21, 2011

Girl Game is and was a collective venture. We as the writers had many goals. We wanted to formalise a realistic stance for women in the modern world of relationships.  We wanted balanced perspectives from modern, scientific, traditional, philosophical and cross-cultural schools of thought to evaluate what might be a woman’s happy strategy with regards to gender relations. We also wanted to provide insights to the games women play when it comes to men.  We wanted to have fun doing it.

I feel that in the course of GG’s history, we’ve achieved pretty much what we set out to do. The writers have  either found permanent personal romantic happiness or are well on their way to achieving it. Girl Game naturally found its conclusion.

Girl Game is now officially inactive, with the caveat that a page may be created to highlight key posts for anyone who wishes to consult the site. Feel free to continue to leave comments.

Thank you for reading, inspiring, criticising and providing interesting discussions. I wish you all the best in love and life.

Hi! Long time reader, first time commenter.

I really enjoyed following GirlGame and I learned a lot. Do you think that you could do a “Where Are They Now?” post? I would love to know where everybody ended up.

Thank you for your insights and good luck to all of you! xx

You all have made it a wonderful time. Thanks for coming out of the woodwork, first time commenters.

Emily, we’ll certainly think about a ‘Where Are They Now?’

Good idea on the where are they now me thinks. I wish I could have devoted more time to GG, but my work life imploded and it became too much for me to write in two places. I love the girls here and still am in touch with them. My blog is getting more attention from me now that I’ve left my old job and started my own company and I’m in LOVE with my man of 8 months. A very looooong wait but an important journey. I’m thankful for this experience, the readers and of course to the other GG’ers!

    GAVE UP!? Oh come on!!!

As a guy, I have to say your site *IS* pretty helpful for women. Why give up something good!?

Getting a boyfriend isn’t an excuse not to write. Write about relationship, since you are in one! COME ON!

Interesting lesson in love and affection being the prime motivator for a woman’s sexual satisfaction – or not? With so much attention being boastfully lavished on the length/girth of a man’s phalus, it is no wonder (with a myriad of porn channels offering us the voyeurs chair at the click of a letter-P-), that some, like myself are plagued by self doubt in respect of our appendage comparativelly. Will she laugh, or keep a straight face? No matter. Just be thankful it’s still got a life of its own, usually when one is turned on by the beloved! Yes Cialis and their ilk may be a sort of panaciae for us older Gents, but there is nothing, like the scent of a woman…nothing…enough said.
